A two-brand email and banner design system in Klaviyo
Mobile-first Klaviyo email templates and campaign banners for two distinct brand identities, built as reusable systems rather than one-off sends.
The challenge
Two sibling brands with genuinely different personalities, one cosmic and celebration-led, the other a clean premium lifestyle identity. Both needed regular campaign email and banner creative that stayed unmistakably on-brand, rendered properly on mobile, and could be produced quickly for each new send.
What we built
- Mobile-first Klaviyo email layouts, two products per row on desktop and one per row on mobile
- A deliberately minimal product card: image, title, price and a single call to action
- High-contrast, touch-friendly gradient call-to-action styling
- A repeatable campaign structure: hero sale banner, product collection grid, closing call to action
- Two separate visual directions maintained in parallel without bleeding into each other
How we built it
Every layout was designed mobile-first, because that is where the sends are actually opened, then allowed to expand on desktop.
Product cards were kept minimal on purpose. In email, extra elements cost clarity and click-through.
Only real products were ever used in layouts, so a template review reflects what customers will actually receive.
Challenges we solved
- Two identities, one production pipeline. Keeping a cosmic gifting brand and a clean premium brand visually distinct while sharing a build process meant separating brand rules from layout structure.
- Email client rendering. Responsive email is unforgiving. Layouts were built to hold up rather than to look impressive in a design tool.
- Speed of production. Treating sends as templated variants turned each new campaign into a content swap rather than a fresh design.
