COMMON QUESTIONS

Everything clients
ask us first.

Pricing, timelines, contracts, code ownership, time zones and support — answered directly, without the sales language. If your question isn't here, ask it and we'll answer it the same way.

Working together across borders

We are a remote studio. Most of our clients have never been in the same room as us, and the process is built for that.

Which countries do you work with?

We work with clients across the USA, UK, Canada, Ireland, Europe, Australia and worldwide. All communication is in English, and we adapt to your time zone for calls and updates.

How do you handle time zone differences with clients in the USA, UK or Canada?

We schedule calls inside your working hours and keep written updates asynchronous, so progress continues while you sleep. Most clients get a written update before their morning starts.

How do we communicate during a project?

Through whichever channel you already use: email, Slack, WhatsApp, ClickUp or Monday.com. We adapt to your stack rather than forcing a new tool on your team.

Do you work with startups as well as established companies?

Yes. We work with early-stage founders validating an idea and with established businesses modernising or automating existing operations.

Pricing, scope and timelines

No hourly black boxes. You see the number and the timeline before work starts.

How much does a project cost?

Pricing is quoted per project after a discovery conversation, because a landing page and a SaaS platform are not comparable scopes. You receive a fixed written scope with pricing and timeline before any work begins, so there are no open-ended hourly surprises.

How long does a typical project take?

A landing page is usually days. A full business website is typically two to five weeks. Mobile apps and custom software depend on scope and are estimated during discovery. Automation and integration work is often the fastest to show value.

How do projects usually start?

With a short discovery conversation. You share the goal, we map the cleanest route to it, and you receive a clear scope with timeline and pricing before anything begins.

Do you take on small projects?

Yes. A landing page, one automation, a logo. Small projects are often how long client relationships start.

Services and scope of work

What we can take on, and how the pieces connect to each other.

Can you handle both the build and the marketing?

Yes, and that is the point of the studio. Web, app or software builds connect directly into SEO, campaigns, analytics and automation, so nothing gets lost between vendors.

Can you build AI agents and automations into an existing website or software?

Yes. Adding AI agents, n8n or Make.com workflows and tool integrations to a system you already run is one of the most common requests we get.

Can you take over a project another agency or developer started?

Yes. We audit what exists, tell you honestly whether it is worth continuing or rebuilding, and give you the reasoning either way.

What makes Devontix different from a typical agency?

Two things. First, scope: design, engineering, marketing and automation are planned as one system instead of being split between vendors. Second, accountability: the founder who scopes your project stays personally responsible for delivering it.

Contracts, ownership and support

The commercial and legal side, in plain terms.

Do you sign NDAs and formal contracts?

Yes. NDAs, written scopes of work and formal agreements are all standard, and we are comfortable working under your own paperwork.

Who owns the code and designs when the project ends?

You do. On final payment, source code, design files, accounts and documentation are handed over to you. We do not hold client projects on our own hosting or accounts.

Do you offer ongoing maintenance and support after launch?

Yes. Ongoing support covers updates, monitoring, SEO and campaign optimisation, automation error handling and new feature work. It is optional, not a requirement.

Still havea question?

Send one short message describing what you want to build, market or automate. You'll get a straight answer and a clear next step, usually within one business day.
